Advocates for Youth is a nonprofit organization and advocacy group based in Washington, DC, dedicated to sexuality education, the prevention of HIV and of sexually transmitted disease, teenage pregnancy prevention, youth access to condoms and contraception (including emergency contraception), equality for LGBT youth and youth participation. In addition, Advocates for Youth sponsors media campaigns and other forms of outreach which attempt to change societal norms to be more understanding of, accepting, of, and responsible about youth sexuality. |

Let Me Run
Let Me Run is a non-profit wellness program that inspires boys to be themselves, be active and belong. With a comprehensive curriculum that applies the power of running, the program encourages boys to develop their psychological, emotional and social health, in addition to their physical health. Twice a week for seven weeks, two trained volunteer coaches lead an elementary or middle school team through practice. Designed to amplify confidence, self-expression and respect for others, each practice includes a lesson from the Let Me Run curriculum that incorporates running, games and activities. Each fall and spring season culminates in a 5k race festival that celebrates the boys’ personal growth. |

The National Coalition for Sexual Health
The National Coalition for Sexual Health (NCSH) is a thriving coalition of over 200 members working together to improve the sexual health and well-being of people living in the United States. We aim to normalize sexual health conversations, empower individuals to protect their sexual health, and make sexual health services part of routine health care. We believe: “Being sexually healthy means being able to enjoy a healthier body, a satisfying sexual life, positive relationships, and peace of mind.” Our members include national, state, and local organizations (such as public health, health care provider, and consumer organizations), universities, and sexual health and communications experts. The NCSH is managed by Altarum Institute, a non-profit health organization, in collaboration with a Steering Committee. |
National Alliance to Advance Adolescent Health
The National Alliance to Advance Adolescent Health is a non-profit organization that works to improve the lives of adolescents, especially those from poor families, by focusing greater attention and resources on their health needs and on innovative ways to address them. Our aim is to increase adolescents' access to integrated physical, behavioral and sexual health care that can help them reduce health risk behaviors, identify their health problems earlier and take on responsibility for managing their health conditions. We also seek to expand holistic health promotion strategies for adolescents in their communities. We work to educate stakeholders and build partnerships, improve the adolescent health workforce, promote effective adolescent care and provide planning and technical support. |
National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP)
With over 7,500 members, the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) is the professional association for PNPs and other advanced practice nurses who care for children. Established in 1973, NAPNAP has been actively advocating for children's health by providing funding, education, and research opportunities to PNPs; and producing and distributing educational materials to parents and families. NAPNAP prides itself in the caliber of its members, which includes national child health care experts, respected authors, distinguished faculty and practicing professionals. |
National Association of School Nurses
On July 4, 1968, the National Education Association established the Department of School Nurses (DSN), an association dedicated to the advancement of school nursing practice and the health of school-aged children Their ultimate purpose was to improve the quality of school nursing, to upgrade the skills of school nurses and to further the abilities of all children to succeed in the classroom. In 1979 the DSN became the National Association of School Nurses (NASN) and was separately incorporated. NASN is the largest association of school nurses and the hub for state affiliate associations. Since 1979, NASN has grown by leaps and bounds. Partnering with national health organizations, NASN continues to develop educational programs. NASN supports school nurse objectives by publishing issue briefs and position statements on subjects affecting student health and school nursing to keep members updated on aspects affecting their school communities. In the legislative arena, NASN employs a Washington, DC-based representative to promote school nurse issues and interact with Congress on the organization's behalf. |

The National Compadres Network (NCN) is a 501 c-3 nonprofit organization founded in 1988. Today built on 28 years of service, the National Compadres Network (NCN) is a national voice for racial equity, racial healing, training, technical assistance, system change and culture infused efforts to create change that is transformational. It brings together culturally-rooted, nationally recognized leaders in the fields of health, trauma, healing, education, fatherhood, rites of passage, family violence, teen pregnancy prevention, cultural competence, juvenile justice, social services, advocacy, racial equity and evidence-based research and evaluation. It works with community leaders and decision makers to create strategic, sustainable systems of change and provides support in the areas of transformational trauma and healing-informed services, capacity-building and training, technical assistance, collective impact building, research, leadership development, and resource and material development. NCN provides technical expertise to system leaders who are looking for tangible ways to move from understanding and quantifying trauma and converting that knowledge to a pathway towards healing. |

Prevention Institute
Prevention Institute (PI) is a national nonprofit with offices in Oakland, Los Angeles, Houston, and Washington, D.C. Our mission is to build prevention and health equity into key policies and actions at the federal, state, local, and organizational level to ensure that the places where all people live, work, play and learn to foster health, safety and wellbeing. Since 1997, we have partnered with communities, local government entities, foundations, multiple sectors, and public health agencies to bring cutting-edge research, practice, strategy, and analysis to the pressing health and safety concerns of the day. We have applied our approach to injury and violence prevention, healthy eating and active living, land use, health systems transformation, and mental health and wellbeing, among other issues. Over the last six years PI has led Making Connections for Mental Health and Wellbeing Among Men and Boys, a national initiative to change the community conditions that influence mental wellbeing. The initiative brings together 13 communities across the US that have worked to shift policies, practices, and norms to create greater opportunities for health and resilience. It is funded by Movember. |
Equimundo
Formerly known as Promundo-US, Equimundo: Center for Masculinities and Social Justice is a non-profit organization and a global leader in promoting gender equality and preventing violence by engaging men and boys in partnership with women, girls, and individuals of all gender identities. Since 2011, Equimundo has worked internationally and in the United States to engage men and boys as allies in gender equality, promote healthy manhood and prevent violence. Previously called Promundo-US, our work was founded in 2011 in partnership with Instituto Promundo in Brazil. Our work was born out of community-based and evidence-based work to engage men and boys in gender equality and non-violent manhood in numerous settings in Latin America, Asia, sub-Saharan Africa and North America. After 11 years as Promundo-US we affirmed our mission to take the promise of an intersectional focus on masculinities and social justice to the next level, and changed our name to make clear our focus on masculinities within and always as part of a social justice framework, and to communicate that message to a broader audience of stakeholders. |
Society for the Psychological Study of Men and Masculinity
The Society for the Psychological Study of Men and Masculinity (SPSMM) (Division 51, American Psychological Association) advances knowledge in the new psychology of men through research, education, training, public policy and improved clinical services for men. SPSMM provides a forum for members to discuss the critical issues facing men of all races, classes, ethnicities, sexual orientations and nationalities. SPSMM publishes a newsletter for members and sponsors programs at the annual APA convention. |
Taylor Hooton Foundation
The Taylor Hooton Foundation is a non-profit organization leading a national campaign to educate youth and their adult influencers of the truths about Appearance and Performance Enhancing Substances including Anabolic Androgenic Steroids, Human Growth Hormone (HGH), Energy Drinks and Dietary Supplements. The Taylor Hooton Foundation was formed in memory of Taylor Hooton, a 17-year old high school student from Plano, TX. Taylor took his own life on July 15th, 2003 as a result of using anabolic steroids. |
Global Action on Men’s Health (GAMH)
Global Action on Men's Health was launched during International Men’s Health Week in June 2014 and became a UK-based charity in May 2018. It is a collaborative project that brings together men’s health organisations, and others which share their objectives, in a global network. GAMH’s mission is to create a world where all men and boys have the opportunity to achieve the best possible health and wellbeing wherever they live and whatever their backgrounds. The organisation’s main goal is global health organisations and national governments addressing the health and wellbeing needs of men and boys in all relevant policies. |
