PMY Youth Advisory Board
Accepting applications for
2026–2027 cohort.
Are you a young man ages 18–25 who cares about the health of your generation?
The Partnership for Male Youth is launching its inaugural Youth Advisory Board — and we’re looking for young men who want to shape the future of adolescent and young adult male health in America. This is your chance to advise a national organization, build your professional network, and ensure that the programs and policies designed for young men are actually shaped by them.
Who We’re Looking For:
-We are seeking male-identifying young adults, or those with lived experience as a male youth, who meet the following criteria:
-Ages 18–25 at the time of application.
-Based in the United States (including Washington, D.C.).
-Passionate about improving the health and well-being of young men.
-Demonstrate interest or experience in youth health, leadership, community advocacy, or related fields.
-Available for virtual monthly meetings, one annual PMY board meeting, and occasional group collaboration.
What You’ll Do:
-Share your experience. Provide firsthand insight on the needs and experiences of male youth in areas including mental health, sexual health, identity, and access to care.
-Advise PMY. Advise PMY staff and partners on effective youth engagement strategies, messaging, campaigns, and program development.
-Help build something historic. Co-design PMY’s 2027 national convening focused on the health and well-being of 18–25-year-old males.
-Create and amplify. Co-create and promote PMY initiatives including digital content, awareness campaigns, webinars, and youth-centered events.
What You Get:
-$500 Stipend: Paid in recognition of your time and contributions.
-Career Development: Professional guidance from PMY’s network of advisors and partners.
-National Exposure: Connect with leaders in adolescent medicine, mental health, and public health.
-Resume Builder: Credited experience with a nationally recognized nonprofit.
-Peer Cohort: Collaborate with a national group of young men working on shared priorities.
-Your Voice Heard: Directly shape programs and policies that affect your generation.
Time Commitment & Term:
-Term Length: One year, renewable based on engagement and interest.
