Partnership for Male Youth Wins 2026 Excellence in Adolescent Health Award
Weekly News Roundup recognized for its contribution to adolescent health.
WASHINGTON, D.C., November 2026 — The Partnership for Male Youth (PMY) is honored to announce that its Weekly News Roundup has received a 2026 Excellence in Adolescent Health Award from the Adolescent Health Initiative (AHI) at the University of Michigan. The award was presented during AHI’s 2026 Conference on Adolescent Health, Caring for Youth in Times of Change, held November 6–7 at Huntington Place in Detroit.
AHI’s Excellence in Adolescent Health Awards recognize individuals and organizations across the country doing exceptional work to improve the health and well-being of young people. PMY is proud to join the distinguished group of past recipients.
Published without interruption since 2013, the Weekly News Roundup brings together the latest research, news, and policy developments on the physical and mental health and well-being of adolescent and young adult (AYA) males ages 10–25. Each week it reaches a broad network of clinicians, researchers, academics, parents, and other caregivers, offering a concise, reliable resource in a field where information about young males’ health is too often scattered or overlooked.
“We are deeply grateful to the Adolescent Health Initiative for this recognition,” said Dennis J. Barbour, JD, President and CEO of The Partnership for Male Youth. “When we launched the Weekly News Roundup, our goal was simple: to make sure that the people who care for and about young males had steady access to the best available information on their health. That we have been able to do so every week since 2013 reflects the commitment of the many professionals and families who read, share, and rely on it.”
The Partnership for Male Youth is the only national organization in the United States solely dedicated to the physical and mental health and well-being of adolescent and young adult males. To subscribe to the Weekly News Roundup, sign up here.
